If
you have any historical notes that we would find useful please contact us at info@FilmWeeklyMagazine.com.
Owned
and published by Odhams press. It ran from the early 30's to mid 1939. In 1939
it merged with Picturegoer Magazine. These magazines can be seen at www.picturegoer.net
The magazine went through a number of formats. The most collectable are the
famous names from the
beginning and end of the series. These magazines were the largest format film
magazines from the 30's. They are the most rare, and therefore the most
collectable of all the magazines published at the time.
This
collection of sites was started as a hobby in 2001. After publication of the first site the
e-mails from film fans started to flood in. After so many requests we decided to
develop the site into a resource for film fans. The posters and the CD have been
developed as a result of requests from site visitors.
Please
feel free to contact us with queries about the site, Film Weekly magazine or
other Film Star related information. We will reply to all e-mails.
